Prof. Melody Graulich: Transatlantic and Transnational Teaching in North American Studies

This keynote lecture will be held as the public part of the international workshop "The Future of Teaching American Studies".

Prof. Melody Graulich, Utah State University, has been awarded the Mary C. Turple Prize of the American Studies Association in 2014. The Mary C. Turpie Prize, established in 1993, is given to the candidate who has demonstrated outstanding abili­ties and achievement in American Studies teaching, advising, and program development at the local or regional level.

Prof. Graulich served as a Professor of English at the University of New Hampshire 1978-1997 – her last position there has been the Class of 1938 Professor­ship for Excellence in Teaching. Since 1997 she is Professor for English and American Studies at Utah State University.
