In the fall of 2017, the eleventh cohort of students has commenced its three-year doctoral program. Currently more than 50 doctoral students are enrolled at the graduate school and pursue their research in one of the six disciplines represented at GSNAS: cultural studies, economics, history, literary studies, political science and sociology. An overview of all current projects can be found here (Jan 2018).
Since 2013 the graduate school has extended its portfolio of early career researcher support by offering a two-year postdoctoral program, either via the Graduate School or the Dahlem Research School.
Our more than 60 alumni are proof of the excellent infrastructure and support our PhD students can draw on during their doctoral studies.
