Looking forward to SHAFR 2019? You can go ahead and book your room online now at the SHAFR Conference special rate of $175/night. Rooms must be reserved by May 30, 2019, and in past years our rooms have sold out well ahead of that date.
And SHAFR has just concluded contract negotiations for our 2020 annual meeting (June 18-20) in New Orleans at the Westin New Orleans Canal Place (picture below). Many thanks to Jana Lipman and Gunter Bischoff of the local arrangements committee for all their help in identifying this venue.
And we're returning to the Arlington Renaissance in 2021 (June 16-20) and 2023 (June 14-18), with almost the same room rate as 2019! Talks are also under way for a joint meeting with the World History Association for 2022, so stay tuned for more exciting news!
