Student Research Opportunities Program (StuROPx): Angebote der Berlin University Alliance

News from Nov 11, 2022

The Berlin University Alliance established the Student Research Opportunities Program (StuROPx) to give you an opportunity to participate in research projects of the Alliance already during your studies or to initiate your own research projects in a team during your (post-)doctoral phase. To this end, the Berlin University Alliance is funding two educational formats: X-TUTORIALS, which are research tutorials for undergraduates, and X-STUDENT RESEARCH GROUPS, in which junior researchers and students pursue a research question together. Now a new round of calls for proposals for the 2023 summer semester is starting. The deadline for all applications is December 4, 2022.

For the X-TUTORIALS, Freie Universität Berlin, in cooperation with the Career Service, is offering a peer-to-peer format by students for students online on November 17 from 2 to 3:30 pm. Further information and the link to participate can be found here.

The Berlin University Alliance is an institutional partnership between Berlin's three universities, Freie Universität Berlin, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Technische Universität Berlin, and Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin. In addition to the overall goal of making Berlin one of Germany's leading sites for academia and research, the Berlin University Alliance aims to strengthen the link between research and teaching.

A total of 37 projects at all four partners of the Berlin University Alliance have been selected for funding in the summer semester of 2023, 11 of which at Freie Universität Berlin.

More information about the topics and other opportunities to participate can be found below.
