The John F. Kennedy Institute will be hosting the conference "Between Empire and Exile: African American Thought and the German Colonial Imagination" this November 19-21. Tiffany Florvil, Professor of History at University of New Mexico and author of Mobilizing Black Germany: Afro-German Women and the Making of a Transnational Movement, will be present as keynote speaker.
