The FU Review is an English-language literary magazine based in Berlin, publishing poetry, prose, essays, visual work, and experimental forms by emerging and established writers. For this reading event, The FU Review returns to the format of "Devoted," where we invite readers to share a text by someone other than themselves that has shaped or stayed with them. Under the working title "DEVOTED: Texts We Carry," the event asks how we carry texts and return to them, write alongside them, and form communities around them. Bringing together literary reading and dialogue, the event reflects on the attachments that make reading, writing, and even criticism possible.
