As part of the BA seminar "Care Work: Black Midwifery and a History of Science, 1619 to 1877" taught by Helen Gibson, Briana Edmonds, of Alwysb Healing, will give a talk on "Being Black in Birthwork."

Briana is a birth + energy worker, teacher and initiator. Briana is a full spectrum doula & intentionally chooses to work primarily with Black, POC, + Indigenous families. She is deeply passionate about nurturing safe spaces for Black people in the health and wellness community.
