On November 8, 2022, Americans had the opportunity to elect all 435 members of the House of Representatives and 35 of the 100 senators. If the Democrats lose their majority in Congress, there is a threat of a phase of extensive blockade of legislative projects and personnel decisions from the White House and thus a "Lame Duck Presidency" of Joe Biden.
