The Examination Committee decides on the admission to the bachelor's and master's thesis and approves the examiners as well as the topic agreed upon with the supervisor. It is also responsible for recognizing external or non-curricular academic and examination achievements.

The current chairperson of the examination board is Prof. Dr. Markus Kienscherf.

The deputy chairperson is the BA representative.
