Xuemeng Zhang is a Ph.D. candidate of the School of Government, Nanjing University, China, and a holder of the CSC-FUB Scholarship 2020 as part of the FUB-CSC PhD Program 2020 (Joint Program of Freie Universität Berlin and the China Scholarship Council) and joins the department of culture as part of an exchange research stay. Zhang's project title is "Visual Culture and Party Media Image."
