Join the John F. Kennedy Institute for Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften
Together with universities and non-university research institutions in Berlin and Potsdam, the John F. Kennedy Institute will open its doors to the public on June 24, 2017 for the 17th annual Langen Nacht der Wissenschaften.
The John F. Kennedy Institute will present a program on the "American Dream" in past, present and future. The full program is listed here, and members of the institute and the public are very much invited to join us for the evening.

17.00−23.00 — Exhibition (1. OG, Raum 201)
In the footsteps of the „Dreamers“ — an exhibition of the personal stories and experiences of first and second generation German emigrants to America.
17.00−23.00 — Hands-On Activity (EG)
„I dream of . . .“ – „Ich träume von . . .“ — children draw their dreams on a great poster and enjoy the books of Dr. Seuss, an American children's book author of German descent.
17.00−23.00 — Presentation (1. OG, Raum 203)
Video-Collage Voices of „The American Dream“ — short speeches on the American dream presnted in Eanglish with German subtitles.
18.30−19.30 — Reading (Caféte in the Basement)
„The American Dream“ through literature — literature on the American dream, read by students of the John F. Kennedy Institute in English.
20.00−21.00 — Panel Discussion (2. OG, Raum 340)
The Future of „The American Dream“ — a panel discussion with teachers and students of the John F. Kennedy Institute.
