For the fifth time, the Aspen Institute Germany invites 20 Staffers from U.S. Congress and German Bundestag to participate in two one-week programs in Washington D.C. (April 29 - May 5) and in Berlin (May 27 - June 2). During the first part in Washington D.C. the participants will dealt intensively with the topics populism and terrorism and in the second part in Berlin with the topics of multilateral organizations and urban development and mobility. For the second part Professor Viola will give a panel on the “Strengths and Weaknesses of Multilateral Organizations” on June 1. 2018.
The Program is supported by the Transatlantic Program of the Federal Republic of Germany with funds from the European Recovery Program of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. Aspen Germany is the project coordinator on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economy and Energy (BMWi).
