Do you wonder about the future occasionally (or all the time), pondering what to do once you have your degree in NAS? Then fret not, my angst-ridden millennial friends, for the students have decided to take matters into their own hands!

Please take note of the third installment of our student-run events series called JFKInterviews!

These interactive interviews will give you the opportunity to have a chat with people who have similar academic backgrounds as us and have found amazing jobs since their graduation! The format is deliberately interactive, so you don’t just join in on another boring and meandering WebEx session where nobody read the assigned texts, ahem.

And with that, let us introduce our next guest for Session #3 on Tuesday, June 15, 6pm:

Aryanne Besner Quintal is a Specialist within the Competitiveness, Innovation and Technology Section of the Organization of American States (OAS) – which is, just for context, the world’s oldest regional organization, dating back to the First International Conference of American States held in 1889. She holds a Master's Degree in International Relations from the University of Quebec in Montreal (UQAM), and a Bachelor of Arts with a Major in Political Communication from the same university. She  uses that background and her language ability in English, French, and Spanish to participate in the formulation, execution, and evaluation of multiple regional development initiatives as well as public policies in the areas of science, technology and innovation; engineering education; the future of work and Industry 4.0; and gender equity and equality in STEM …

Alright, that’s a lot of buzzwords, all placed rightly so, but to top it off , she is also known for giving resources and rather practical advice on how to get your hands on some great internships and how to navigate the current job market with academic backgrounds like ours! Which is exactly what many of us are looking for right now!

So, if any of that sounds even remotely enticing to you, then be sure to join us in Session #3 on Tuesday, June 15, 6pm over WebEx:
