New bill to strengthen study abroad opportunities for US students: Senator Paul Simon Study Abroad Foundation Act of 2007 introduced in Congress

Based on the recommendations made by the Lincoln Commission, the bill H.R. 1469 was introduced by Congressman Tom Lantos (D-CA), and the chairman of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs, Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL). The Senator Paul Simon Study Abroad Foundation Act aims at improving opportunities for US students to study abroad.
