As part of the interdisciplinary seminar „Narrative and History,“ Doug Woodham will introduce the biography and talk about the life and work of Basquiat as well as about the role of the art market (other artists, art dealers, etc.) in Basquiat’s rise to a position of fame that straddles the fields of avantgarde art and pop culture.
