The Graduate School of North American Studies will host a workshop titled "Uncertainty and Risk in America: (Un)Stable Histories from the Late Colonial Period to the 'Gilded Age'".

The conference will be convened by Elisabeth Engel (GHI, Washington DC) and Sebastian Jobs (Freie Universität Berlin) and will take place in the GSNAS (Lansstraße 5, 14195 Berlin) from June 30 to July 2, 2016. The full program of the workshop can be found here.
