Gender Equality Officer

The Gender Equality Officer of the John F. Kennedy Institute supports employees and students in a variety of ways. Some of these include information and consultation on work/study - life balance, sexual discrimination, sexual harrassment, other conflict situations, and more.

All inquiries will be treated confidentially.

Dual Career & Family Service

The Freie Universität Berlin family wants to help whenever one takes a longterm family or social reponsability. This includes parenting and taking care of relatives. The Dual Career & Family Service offers information and confidential consulting concerning all questions about compatibility of job, studies and family. Furthermore, information about childcare at the university is provided. There are also information events about taking care of relatives or studying as a parent.

Studentenwerk (Student Service)

The Social Consulting of the Studentenwerk advises studying parents on finance.

Personalstelle (Human Resources Department)

Information about maternity protection, parental leave and the possibility of flexible working hours can be found at the Personalstelle.
