Erasmus / Direct Exchange (UK)
Students have numerous opportunities to study abroad. Program administrators will regularly inform students about Freie Universität’s worldwide direct exchange program as well as other scholarship opportunities. The Erasmus coordinator of the JFKI is prepared to advise students on various European exchange opportunities.
The application deadline for outgoing Erasmus students during the academic year 2023/24 is January 31, 2023. Complete applications should be submitted to the Erasmus coordinator Gabi Bodmeier via email as a single PDF file (if possible) with the subject line "Erasmus Application 2023/24". Applicants should consult the webpage of the Erasmus office and the JFKI Erasmus page for further details.
A recent outgoing student from the JFKI has compiled a very helpful application guide for interested applicants (Eleonore Neumann, July 2016). The guide is available in German and English.

Direct Exchange (UK)
As a result of the Brexit referendum and the resulting process of the United Kingdom's withdrawal from the European Union, Freie Universität Berlin's British partnerships will run through the Direct Exchange program beginning in the academic year of 2023/24 and will no longer be part of the Erasmus+ Europe program.
Please note: The application deadline for the academic year 2023/24 is November 8, 2022.
